Immaculate Grid: Football

Immaculate Grid Football is a game that challenges participants to fill out a grid by selecting players who meet specific criteria for each cell's row and column. The game is updated daily at 9:00 am ET, and players have nine guesses to complete the grid. Each guess, whether correct or not, counts as one of the nine allowed guesses.

Here are the rules for selecting players for each cell:

  1. For the player and team cell: The chosen player must have played at least one game (in the regular season or playoffs) for the specific team listed in the cell.

  2. For the team and award cell: The selected player must have won the award during a season in which he appeared for the team listed in the cell.

  3. For Super Bowl winners: The player must have appeared in a game (regular season or playoff) for the team during the Super Bowl-winning season to qualify.

  4. For the team and season stat cell: The player's specific stat must have been recorded while playing for the team mentioned in the cell. If a player played for multiple teams in a season, the stat must have been achieved while he was with the team in question.

  5. For two stat/awards cells: The player doesn't necessarily need to have accomplished both stats/awards in the same season. As long as the player achieved both stats/awards at some point in his career, he qualifies for the cell.

In the game, players cannot be used twice in the grid, and previous franchise names are considered (e.g., Houston Oilers players matching for the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams players matching for the Los Angeles Rams).

The objective of the game is to fill out the grid with eligible players based on these criteria, using strategic thinking and knowledge of football history to make the best selections.
